Aconcagua - High Peak of the Americas

November 5th was the start of our journey, our Lan Chile flight few us into Santiago Chile, then we made a connecting flight to Mendoza Argentina.

Our plan was to climb to the top of Cerro Aconcagua - the highest peak outside of the Himalayas. She's 22,841 feet above sea level in the Andes (almost 3,000 feet higher than Denali in Alaska).
