Northern Safari - Etosha National Park
For 4 days we had a fantastic journey through Etosha - one of the world's greatest wildlife viewing venues.

Damara Dik Dik - in the bush, these are one of the smallest antelope in Etosha, they usually live in pairs.

Kori Bustard - Africa's largest flying bird.

Female and male Kori Bustard cooling off in the shade in a water hole.

We found this chameleon sleeping above our tents waiting for a bug to wander by it's mouth. Don't see too many lizards/snakes in Etosha in the winter months - a little too cold for their liking.

Red Hartebeest - The horns form a "heart" like shape, hence their name. They are supposedly one of the fastest antelopes in the park, usually living in wooded areas.

Springbok - resting near a water hole.

Eagle soaring above our heads, flying over the bush.

In the afternoon we came across a Male Lion snoozing on the banks of this water hole. A brave giraffe came down to have a drink - and the lion came in to see if it could score an afternoon snack!
