Our trip began - very early at 5am at our favorite waterfall
parking spot. We had get going early so we could make to The Garden parking
lot and make our way up to Johns Brook Lodge. From there we could make
our attempts at summiting a mountain or two. Jenny's all smiles - as usual.

Jumping ahead a few hours - the day was all rain so far,
but we had made it to the Summit of Saddleback mountain. Our gloves were
soaking wet and freezing cold, the rain had turned to sleet and snow once
getting to 4000 feet.

of the year.
