Itinerary:

6/24 - Arrive in hike peak region- stay in Keene Valley / Lake Placid Area. Meet at 7pm off Rt. 73

6/25 - Enter Park Early AM, trek to camp. Summit Big Slide Mountain.

6 /26 - Return to cars, break for lunch go for a swim then head home,

Hiking Boots
3500+ Cubic Inch Backpack
Sleeping bag, 30 F or more
Sleeping Mattress (Thermarest, closed cell etc.)
Bowl & Utensils (spoon and fork)
Nalgene Bottles (2)

Bug Spray is a must, it's bug season now!

Outdoor clothing, bring no cotton clothes!
Long sleeve shirt(s), Pants, short sleeve shirts
Bring 3 or 4 pair of good hiking socks (Smart Wool)
Directions:

Interstate I-87 (NY Thruway) North
Exit 30, Left at the end of the ramp
Bear left at intersection (Rt 73)
Proceed about 1-2 miles, go over bridge
Stop, there's a parking lot up dirt road
on left side.
