Day 2 - Florence, Italy
| Breakfast with a view!!! We quickly fit into the Tuscan life style. It was tough but we made the best of it. Toast and tea every morning, we flung open our shudders to hear the sounds and breath the Tuscan air, a perfect way to start our day. | ||||

| 400+ steps later we reached the top
of the Campenille Tower. The bell towers started to chime right
as we got up to the top (what a startling but incredible thing)
and the view, absolutely beautiful! We finally go a glimpse of the
Tuscan hills that we heard so much about! |

| A quick show of the Sinistra and the visiting cardinal. They began playing their musical instruments and then ran off while they continued to play with the cardinal behind them in the car. They would run in front of the army as the entered a city, warning people of their arrival. | ||||

| Decending the Duomo… quite a
way out, you definitely needed the side rail for guidance, I wonder if they had them back in the day? |
