Our big trip to Venice!!!! We took the high speed train getting there in 3 hours from Florence. We made a couple friends on the way too. Once there the sun was beaming down, welcoming us and making us crave for the cool water/canals (we choose the shade instead). We jumped right onto the public boat taxis which were great. A completely new way of getting around we could get used to boats rather then cars! We found our hotel and got ourselves settled. Our first task was to find food…. We were starving. We actually found a very cute place for lunch… and tried out the fish. With a full stomach we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Venice.
